Zeus was rescued with his sister, Athena, and one of our amazing southern foster friends has been taking care of them. It’s hard to find homes for the overwhelming amount of dogs down south right now, so NELR is helping these two sweeties find loving forever families up north in the land of pampered fur-babies! Zeus is a sweet, mellow pup that aims to please. He’s potty & crate trained, knows some basic cues, and is good on leash. He enjoys playtime, frisbees, and most of all cuddling his favorite humans! He has been dubbed, “so sweet,” “loving,” and “wonderful” by his caretakers, who say he will make the best companion for any family!

We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.

We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
