Ranger was a stray wandering around with another dog in search of food. They happened upon one of our southern foster friends who took them in and connected them to NELR. Ranger was great in southern foster care, where the houses and yards are always full of dogs in need of help (it’s a very different situation down there and why we bring so many dogs up from the south to be spoiled in New England). He was excellent with the little puppies he was housed with, along with all the older dogs, and he would love to be your resident canine's brother! He's potty & crate trained, and behaves well on leash and in a fenced yard for playtime and fetch. He's also good with recall and responding to his name, and his foster says he's very well-behaved! He’s a really happy, social boy that is excited to bring joy and love to some lucky family.

All of our available adoptable dogs are on Facebook, Petfinder, and our website. If a dog is no longer listed it means they have an adoption pending.
We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.
We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
