Ralphie was originally from a breeder that was closing their business and getting mom spayed. We took the litter to get them placed in loving homes and Ralphie found one that has loved and cared for him, but ultimately doesn’t feel like the best fit for everyone. It’s been too confusing for him to be raised with little kids that might not recognize boundaries or dog communication, so he sometimes feels the need to resource guard with a growl, and kiddos of this age just don’t understand so it’s confusing for them and Ralphie. He can also be mouthy and jumpy when he plays, it is all in fun and typical puppy stuff, but he could use some big humans to help teach him better ways to communicate his joy and silliness. He likes playtime with other playful dogs and is a typical, goofy puppy but we’d love to see him in a single-dog home with older family that can work on training and trust around resources. He’s been learning some basics and is very trainable and treat-motivated, so we think he’ll do great when set up for success! He’s potty & crate trained, decent on leash, and LOVES the water! This handsome pup can’t wait to have fun with you!

All of our available adoptable dogs are on Facebook, Petfinder, and our website. If a dog is no longer listed it means they have an adoption pending.

We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.

We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
