Moose was well-loved but landed in a southern shelter when his human was no longer able to care for him because of medical restrictions. He is used to being a best friend and constant companion, so he loves attention and being by his human’s side, but he’s a good when left in charge of the house by himself. He’d be thrilled with a family that includes him in whatever they’re doing as he has so much wonderful affection to give! He’s loving, enjoys cozying up for a show marathon, and will fill your heart with his adoration. He doesn’t really know his own size (so we’d recommend slightly older/bigger kiddos) and could use some leash work, but he’s very sweet, knows basic cues, and has good house manners. He loves toys, treats, and any positive thing, really, so even though he gets along well with other dogs, we think he’d be thrilled to be the only dog in the home to soak up all the love he’s used to ♥️ He’s been an excellent houseguest for his foster and is ready to settle right into a family of his own!

We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
