Kate and her sister/friend Ashley were at a rural, southern shelter for a long time waiting for a home, being spared from euthanasia by shelter workers who took turns bringing them home when the shelter was too full. Everyone who has met them thinks they are the sweetest girls and deserve a chance to be happy and loved in forever homes. Kate was a bit shy at first with so many changes going on, but she enjoys affection and thinks cuddling up with you on the couch is just lovely! Once she knows she’s safe and things become familiar she really blossoms, loves positive attention, and will thrive with loving humans of her own. She’s potty & crate trained and doing so well in a home setting. She has a great time playing with other young, playful dogs, and is sweet with kids but still a puppy and may jump a bit in excitement. After such a confusing start to life, she’d love to experience lots of fun and adventures with her forever family. She walks well on leash, loves toys of all kinds, and will be a fun pup to spoil!

All of our available adoptable dogs are on Facebook, Petfinder, and our website. If a dog is no longer listed it means they have an adoption pending.
We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.
We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
