Comet was saved from the euthanasia lists at a full southern shelter after being found as a stray, and is excited to start his second chance at happiness up here in New England. He is a sweet, affectionate young boy that’s potty & crate trained (but also content to sleep in the human bed if permitted!). He loves playtime but also knows how to relax and nap. Just as some humans prefer the company of dogs, Comet prefers the company of humans and would love a home where he can be the only pup. He would also love a rural setting because being in a city with so many strange animals walking past while on leash walks has been stressful for him - after so many big, scary changes in his life, we can’t blame him for preferring the quiet life! His foster says he is super lovable and sweet, and calm and easygoing in the home. He can’t wait to appreciate the peace of a happily ever-after with some human best friends to adore ♥️

We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.

We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
