Charlie flew all the way from Puerto Rico to find his happily ever after (and boy, are his arms tired 😄). He was found as a stray, something common in Puerto Rico, where lack of spaying/neutering for a streak of years has lead to a huge influx of dogs lacking homes, so like many US rescues, we have pledged to help when possible. Thankfully there are many amazing rescue friends over there who took good care of this little sweetie, giving him love and vetting to prep for his big trip to New England! He has been learning a lot and is already doing great with potty & crate training. He gets along well with dogs and kids, and loves attention and snuggling. He has settled right in at his NE foster home, quickly endearing himself to the resident canines and earning lots of play and snuggle time with them (he would make a great playmate/brother!). He’s a friendly, sweet, goofy pup that is excited to find a forever family! He loves to play, eat, nap, repeat, like any good little pup. He is young and will need to be neutered when age-appropriate. Continued bonding over training skills with a forever family is a great way to show your little pupper what life in your house is all about, as well as open good communication with your new family member ❤️ 

 

ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS: We strongly advise positive reinforcement training/behavior classes with your new pup. Training is for the benefit of you and your puppy and will help you build a stronger relationship. Puppies do not know what they haven’t been taught and some “puppy proofing” may need to be done in your home. Please remember that little puppies come in little bodies that need potty breaks every few hours.

We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
