Buttons and Bow are a handsome, bonded pair of brothers that were surrendered through no fault of their own. Once they grew out of their adorable little puppy phase the kids in their family lost interest so they were given up. Surrenders are the first to get euthanized in shelters (no hold period to see if someone is looking for them), but thankfully our amazing southern rescue network did what they do best to help these boys to safety, and we are now happy to find them forever families for their happily ever after. They get along well with other dogs and love playtime. They’ve been great with the kids in their foster home, very sweet and love to give kisses, the kids adore them! They love getting time in a fenced yard to sniff, run, and play (and we can say from experience it’s a great way for the whole family to bond and have fun together!). Their previous owners didn’t do a lot of training with them, but they are smart and quickly picking up cues with their foster and have been practicing the basics. Continued training will be a great way to bond with your new family members, and they have hearts of gold that just want to make you happy. They’re going to love all the wonderful outdoorsy things New England has to offer and will make great buddies for hiking, swimming, trails, etc. They are happy, healthy, and ready to be loved and cherished as the family members they long to be!

All of our available adoptable dogs are on Facebook, Petfinder, and our website. If a dog is no longer listed it means they have an adoption pending.

We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.

We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
