Bowie’s “time was up” at a shelter in Texas and everyone was in love with this darling boy and couldn’t see that happen, so our rescue friends brought him to our attention, and we are happy to help find this sweetie a home! Once in our care, he was found to be heartworm positive during his routine vetting, so he went through HW treatment during his foster stay down south. He was a loving, affectionate houseguest but is all done, feeling good, and is ready to find his happily ever after in New Hampshire or Vermont (*due to certain state regulations regarding transport of recently HW+ animals). Bowie is a gentle boy that absolutely adores kids and takes to them quickly, so he would love a home with kiddos he can grow up with. He pays no mind to cats and gets along with other dogs but prefers to be the only resident dog in the home to soak up all the love. He really enjoys spending time with his people and just taking it easy in the sweet life! He’s great on leash and may even do well off-leash with training. He’s such a chill, sweet boy, we know he’s going to bring amazing comfort and love to some lucky family!

All of our available adoptable dogs are on Facebook, Petfinder, and our website. If a dog is no longer listed it means they have an adoption pending.

We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.

We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
