Ashley and her sister/friend Kate were at a rural, southern shelter for a long time waiting for a home, being spared from euthanasia by being shelter workers taking turns bringing them home when the shelter was too full. Everyone who has met them thinks they are the sweetest girls and deserve a chance to be happy and loved in forever homes. Ashley is so loving but is working on her confidence after so many changes and unsureties in her short life. She may shy away at first, but she loves affection and thinks cuddling up with you on the couch is just lovely! Loud noises and cars whizzing by have been a bit overwhelming while she settles in, so she may prefer a more rural setting. Once she knows she’s safe and things become familiar she really loves positive attention and will thrive with humans who love her. She’s potty & crate trained and knows to sit for a treat. She loves toys and playtime with other young, playful dogs (and would probably enjoy a sibling to goof with). She’s still learning about leash walking, so a fenced yard would be a great way to bond and have fun outside. She just wants to love and be loved, feel safe, and enjoy all the fun she can with you!

All of our available adoptable dogs are on Facebook, Petfinder, and our website. If a dog is no longer listed it means they have an adoption pending.

We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.

We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
