Mama Bailey and her partner were seen wandering the streets down south, looking for food and shelter. A kind, elderly woman took them in just in time for Bailey to have her litter in the safety and care of a home, which we are so thankful for. It quickly became too much for the nice woman when the puppies began to move about and our southern rescue friends were contacted to help, and through them, NELR was involved. Before the move, the dad unfortunately got loose and has not been found yet, but Bailey is doing well (recovering from spay and will be available soon), and the babies have just made their trek up here to New England to find forever homes! Arthur is all the typical, adorable things you’d want in a puppy; playful, affectionate, and full of cuddles, napping, eating, and playing. He’s friendly with everyone, including dogs and kids. He’s the biggest one of his siblings, but pretty relaxed and submissive. He is young and will need to be neutered when age-appropriate. Continued bonding over training skills with a forever family is a great way to show your little pupper what life in your house is all about, as well as open good communication with your new family member ❤️
ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS: We strongly advise positive reinforcement training/behavior classes with your new pup. Training is for the benefit of you and your puppy and will help you build a stronger relationship. Puppies do not know what they haven’t been taught and some “puppy proofing” may need to be done in your home. Please remember that little puppies come in little bodies that need potty breaks every few hours.

All of our available adoptable dogs are on Facebook, Petfinder, and our website. If a dog is no longer listed it means they have an adoption pending.
We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes.
We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs.
