New England Lab Rescue, Inc is a 501 c3 Non Profit organization dedicated to rescuing Labrador Retrievers.
Heather Smith Labbé of Chatham, Cape Cod and Maine, founded New England Lab Rescue, Inc. in May 2010. With a lot of hard work, learning the ropes and dedication from Heather and the volunteer team she recruited, NELR has become a respected 501c3 Non Profit Organization dedicated to the Labrador Retriever Breed. NELR has to date, placed over 3,000 labs in loving forever homes all over New England. All were scheduled for euthanasia in overcrowded shelters throughout the South. Today, all these labs are thriving in loving New England Forever Homes!!

We thought it'd be fun to take a look at the new lives of some of our happily adopted pups. First up, Echo!
My Name Is: Echo & it is one of the things that made my humans notice me first (besides being oh so handsome!) My nickname is Echo Tango, or Echo Tango Foxtrot (not a short name but it's a lot of fun!)
📅 My Age Is: 3 1/2
🏠 I’ve Been Here With My Furever Family For: 2 amazing years (September 30th was my Gotcha Day!)
🐕 My Fur Siblings Are: None YET but we've been contemplating it!
💖 My Favorite Human Is: My boy. They call him my brother, but he doesn't look like me. We are very much alike though! We follow each other around, play and most importantly: he feeds me! He also lets me sleep with him every night. My grampie is a close second though and I get very excited when I get time with him!
🍖 My Favorite Treat Is: I am part lab so..... food in general makes me happy. But I get very excited for peanut butter treats!!!
🎾 My Favorite Thing To Do Is: I am a big fan of zoomies outside, or really anything that has to do with outside. Cuddles are also a favorite activity. OH and I cannot forget--CAR RIDES!!! I wear the biggest smiles when I get to go on car rides! I love my stuffies that I play with and cuddle with.
